Our Story
Hi! We are Lushbox Packaging, a small team of former food and restaurant professionals with over nine years in the industry who are as passionate about caring for our planet as we are about food service! During our time in the industry, we saw the massive about of waste and pollution that was created through the use of plastic utensils and take-out containers. As disheartening as it was, we knew there was something that could be done about it.
This is when Lushbox Packaging was born. In 2019, we decided to form our own business, offering only environmentally friendly restaurant and foodservice packaging made of plant-based materials like corn, wheat fiber, and sugarcane. Not only do we desire to help the industry as a whole to decrease their contribution to the plastic in our oceans and landfills, but we also strive to make certified compostable packing more easily accessible to businesses everywhere.

Our ultimate goal is to change the way the restaurant and foodservice industry contributes to our Earth. With our compostable packaging products, we aim to help businesses everywhere reduce their waste and support our farmers with this alternative to single use plastics. Our Products
At Lushbox Packaging, our main focus is to help more restaurants and food service businesses have access to eco-friendly packaging. We only carry products that are not plastic and instead, are a sustainable, certified compostable alternative. Each of our utensils and containers are made from organic, plant-based materials, making them reusable, recyclable, and completely compostable at any scale. These products require less energy to manufacture, support our country’s farmers, and produce less pollution.
